Therapeutic
Approach.

I work collaboratively in individual therapy with adults of all ages to provide support with a range of issues. In addition to trauma and eating disorders, I support clients with strategies for anxiety, depression, stress, grief, health problems, low self esteem and adjustment to challenging life situations.

I draw on evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma (CPT) and elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe that successful therapy starts with developing a comprehensive understanding of a client’s problems, agreeing therapy goals, establishing a positive client-therapist relationship and engaging in collaborative therapy work. I strive to create a positive and supportive space where clients can improve their wellbeing and life satisfaction.

I provide evidence-based individual therapy for a range of issues from every day concerns to more complex mental health conditions including:

• Anxiety – Generalised, Social, Health, Phobias, Obsessive compulsive disorder

• Depression

• Well-being
